ADVANCE_VAC4PM partners and SEAC members meet up to discuss project progress and challenges

Paris, 06 November 2023


Partners of the ADVANCE_VAC4PM project and members of its scientific and ethics advisory committee (SEAC) met in Paris on 06 November 2023 to discuss the progresses, challenges and upcoming activities after 18 months from the start of the project.


ADVANCE_VAC4PM focuses on 4 main objectives:

  1. Advancing the development of the PRIMVAC and PAMVAC vaccine candidates against placental malaria,

  2. Promote the use of e-health technologies to track pregnancy outcomes,

  3. Conduct a cost effectiveness study for a placental malaria vaccine and

  4. Enhance capacity building in low- and middle-income countries.
